Field Day
Field Day will take place on Friday, May 2nd. This day is a fantastic opportunity for our students to recognize the importance of exercise, good sportsmanship, and working together while having FUN IN THE SUN!
Important Information:
Attire:
o House Color T-shirt (or similar color)
o Tennis shoes
o Towel and change of clothes (optional)
-There are a few water activities. These are optional. Students do not have to get wet.
Sunscreen:
o Kindergarten and First Grade: apply at home before school
o Second – Fifth Grade: may apply sunscreen at school (they will need to apply it themselves) before their scheduled time
Water:
o Water bottles welcome- students will be responsible for keeping track of while playing the games
Lunch:
o Students will be on alternate lunch schedule on the day of the event
o See schedule below for exact times for each grade level
Parents:
o You MUST check in at the front of the school with your physical government issued picture ID and receive a visitor badge to watch your child. See schedule below.
o We will have students from Heritage High School running the stations, so parents will be able to follow their child throughout the duration of their child’s event.
Field Day Check-In:
Parents and all visitors MUST bring the physical copy of their government issued ID to check-in for all school events even if events are outside.
To expedite your check in process for events, we recommend you stop by to scan your driver's license in the front office this coming week if you have not before. If you are not on our list of accepted ID's before they are printed the morning before then you will have to wait in the line in the office instead of at the check in table for events.
We are really looking forward to making this day special.
Thanks,
Coach Loughmiller and Coach Coleman
