Dear Mooneyham Families, 

 

On behalf of the Mooneyham Parent Teacher Association, welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  It is a great honor to serve as the PTA President for this coming school year.  I am looking forward to a great year filled with family engagement events, educational programs for the students, and many other opportunities to support our school, students, and staff.

 

The primary way to support the mission and efforts of Mooneyham PTA is to become a member yourself.  Not only can you join, but friends, family and community partners are also welcome to become members of our PTA.  A portion of dues for joining PTA goes directly to support Mooneyham, and another portion goes to Texas and National PTA to support the state and national efforts benefitting all children.  There are no requirements once dues are paid; however, the best way to stay informed during the school year is to attend our PTA meetings.  Joining the PTA gives you a voice by being able to vote at our meetings, and also gives you a voice on the state and national level.  

 

While joining PTA does not obligate anyone to volunteer, we are always welcoming anyone that would like to help!  Please review all the volunteer opportunities under the Volunteer tab of our website.  A background check through www.voly.org is required by Frisco ISD to volunteer during the school year.    

 

Please consider joining the Mooneyham Parent Teacher Association today.  The more support that we have from our members, the more we are able to give back to our wonderful school, students and staff.
