Letter from Dr. Waldrip
Dear PTA members,
As PTA members, you know the value of community in our schools. When you see or hear of a need, you work to fill it! Frisco Threads is a powerful testament to that commitment, and the District is thankful for your partnership.
In the interest of continual improvement and transparency, the District has worked to create a District Accountability Report that reflects how we work as a learning organization. The report is anchored in our six future-ready focus areas. The first 30 pages of the 2022-23 District Accountability Report provide an overview of who we are as a District and what we are prioritizing as goals in our future. The final 70-plus pages are the Campus Accountability Reports. Each campus created a reflection on their focus areas for the past year and an update on how they addressed each priority. Please take a moment to check those out.
It’s easy for a large organization to lose sight of its mission and goals. So, we in Frisco ISD
continually reflect on our mission of knowing each child’s name and need while encouraging
them to embrace future-ready learning opportunities. This powerful orienting force drives
teachers, students, and administrators every day.
Thank you for tirelessly supporting students, their teachers, and the campus. You go out of your way to seek out opportunities for enriching experiences for students, and our entire district benefits from your leadership and involvement.
Dr. Mike Waldrip
