There is so much information to share at the beginning of the year! We can't wait to host Spirit Night at Spring Creek BBQ on 8/28!  It's also time to order House Shirts! Don't forget to submit your background checks so you can volunteer!

Please join us on Monday, August 28th from 5 PM  to 9 PM at Spring Creek Barbeque in Frisco. Come see your teachers serve hot rolls in the dining room and support your school!  Spring Creek will donate 20% of all sales that evening to Mooneyham PTA!

The top 3 homerooms with the highest attendance will receive a special prize from Spring Creek! We will see you there!

Not sure what house your student is in?  Teacher names are listed under the house colors.  Parents can order themselves one too!

From organizing classroom parties to helping in the library and assisting teachers with projects, there are many opportunities for parents and community members to contribute their time and talents. Volunteering boosts the educational experience for every child, fostering growth and success.

How do you sign up to volunteer? 

1. Join the Mooneyham PTA

2. Complete the Volunteer Interest Form. It’s not a commitment, but simply lets us know your area of interest. 

3. All volunteers must complete the FISD-required background check in VOLY .   

4. Sign Up! Once the background check is completed, you can use VOLY to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

Mooneyham participates in the Watch D.O.G.S. program that encourages fathers (and father figures) to further participate in their children’s lives by spending time at the school volunteering with their child(ren)’s grade level.
