We are excited to be Back to School!  The PTA has so many fun and exciting plans for this school year.  See below for a few of the upcoming events!

Please join us on Monday, August 28th from 5 PM  to 9 PM at Spring Creek Barbeque in Frisco. Come see your teachers serve hot rolls in the dining room and support your school!  Spring Creek will donate 20% of all sales that evening to Mooneyham PTA!

Get your HOUSE SHIRT today!  Order a house shirt for your student at the link below.  Students must order the shirt in the color of their house.  

Not sure what house your student is in?  Teacher names are listed under the house colors.  Parents can order themselves one too!

Your support is invaluable. From organizing classroom parties to helping in the library and assisting teachers with projects, there are many opportunities for parents and community members to contribute their time and talents. Volunteering boosts the educational experience for every child, fostering growth and success.

How do you sign up to volunteer? 

1. Join the Mooneyham PTA

2. Complete the Volunteer Interest Form. It’s not a commitment, but simply lets us know your area of interest. 

3. All volunteers must complete the FISD-required background check in VOLY .   

4. Sign Up! Once the background check is completed, you can use VOLY to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

Mooneyham participates in the Watch D.O.G.S. program that encourages fathers (and father figures) to further participate in their children’s lives by spending time at the school volunteering with their child(ren)’s grade level.

Thank you to Jeremiah’s Italian Ice for coming out to Meet the Teacher Night!  Jeremiah’s is donating $138 to Mooneyham PTA! Thank you to all our families for making our first on-campus Spirit Night a success!

The PTA hosted their annual Yahoo Boohoo Breakfast for our Kindergarten parents on the first day of school. It was a great opportunity to connect with other Kindergarten parents and relax after drop-off. We are looking forward to an amazing school year!
